• Day 1

  Arrive Chandigarh - Transfer to Dalhousie

  Upon your arrival in Chandigarh, our representative will warmly greet you and assist with your transfer to Dalhousie. The drive to Dalhousie, approximately 320 kilometers away, will take around 8-9 hours. As you journey through the picturesque landscapes of Himachal Pradesh, enjoy the views of lush valleys and charming hill stations. Upon reaching Dalhousie, check in at your hotel and relax after the long drive. In the evening, take a leisurely stroll around the hill station, soaking in the serene atmosphere and cool mountain air. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.

   

• Day 2

  Dalhousie Local Sightseeing + Excursion to Khajjiar

  After a hearty breakfast, set out for a day of sightseeing in Dalhousie and an excursion to Khajjiar. Start with a visit to the colonial-era churches, such as St. John’s Church and St. Francis’ Church, showcasing beautiful architecture and historical significance. Next, head to Panchpula, a popular picnic spot known for its cascading waterfalls and natural beauty. After exploring Panchpula, drive to Khajjiar, often referred to as the "Mini Switzerland of India," located about 22 kilometers from Dalhousie. Khajjiar is known for its lush green meadows, dense forests, and the tranquil Khajjiar Lake. Enjoy various activities like zorbing, horse riding, and nature walks. Visit the Khajji Nag Temple, dedicated to the serpent god, which adds a spiritual touch to the scenic beauty. After a memorable day in Khajjiar, return to Dalhousie in the evening. Stroll along Gandhi Chowk and Thandi Sadak, enjoying the local ambiance and shopping for souvenirs. Overnight stay at Dalhousie.

   

• Day 3

  Dalhousie - Transfer to Dharamshala

  After breakfast, check out from your hotel and embark on your journey to Dharamshala, approximately 120 kilometers away. The drive will take around 4-5 hours, offering scenic views of the Dhauladhar mountain range and the lush green valleys. Upon arrival in Dharamshala, check in at your hotel and freshen up. In the afternoon, explore the local area, starting with McLeod Ganj, also known as "Little Lhasa," the residence of the Dalai Lama. Visit the Namgyal Monastery and the Tibetan Museum to learn about Tibetan culture and history. Stroll through the bustling streets of McLeod Ganj, filled with shops selling Tibetan handicrafts and artifacts. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.

• Day 4

  Dharamshala Local Sightseeing

  After a delicious breakfast, set out for a full day of sightseeing in Dharamshala. Begin with a visit to the Bhagsu Waterfall and Bhagsunath Temple, a popular spot for tourists and locals alike. Next, head to the serene Dal Lake, surrounded by deodar trees, where you can enjoy a peaceful boat ride. Continue to the Church of St. John in the Wilderness, a beautiful neo-Gothic church built in 1852. Afterward, visit the War Memorial, dedicated to the soldiers who fought bravely in the wars post-independence. In the afternoon, explore the Norbulingka Institute, dedicated to preserving Tibetan culture and art. Stroll through its beautiful gardens and visit the various workshops showcasing traditional Tibetan crafts. Overnight stay at Dharamshala.

   

• Day 5

  Dharamshala - Chandigarh Drop

  After breakfast, check out from your hotel and begin your journey back to Chandigarh. The drive, approximately 250 kilometers, will take around 6-7 hours. Enjoy the scenic route as you descend from the hills, passing through charming towns and verdant landscapes. Arrive in Chandigarh by late afternoon or evening, depending on traffic conditions. Our representative will then assist you with your drop-off at the Chandigarh airport, railway station, or your preferred location in the city, marking the end of your memorable trip to Dalhousie, Khajjiar, and Dharamshala.
